Katungkulan (a tagalog term for SERVICE) Beach formerly known as Boracay de Cavite is one you can consider to be a great place to go when you are planning for a beach get away trip. A beach resort near manila and quiet place for relaxation and unwinding. it is located at Marine Base Calumpang, Sapang 1, Ternate, Cavite. It is possible for a motor cycle to travel this far as we already tried it and the road is fine. Less vehicles to encounter; but still take a good care on curve roads.

You can even encounter some monkeys along the road. They can be seen at the edge of the road and some are passing by. We did take a picture of them but strictly it is not allowed to feed them. You can see some signs along the road that prohibits of feeding the monkeys. Just enjoy taking a photograph of them then leave. :) its better that way. You may also witness some wild pig at the entrance - don't mind me I was just amazed by it they are just there walking around like a pet :D.

You'll never get lost going to the resort as this sign is located at the entrance. There is a entrance fee of 100php per person and 200php per person if you were planning to stay there for a night. They will also update you wether if you have your own tent or not as the cottages are already occupied. Upon arrival aside from paying for the entrance fee there will be a waver form as you enter the vicinity. I was not able to take a picture of the form at that time as there are some people also waiting at the front desk for us to be finished. From the entrance to the beach itself is (distance) traveling via tricycle ranging 300pesos one way. The tricycle could only fit 3person that is why even you were just a couple travelling you will still pay the 300 pesos. They can offer you back and fort service and you can just text them to pick you up.

Upon arriving at the beach itself , there is a ample amount of space for parking your car. An information desk located at the beach is also accesible for all of your basic needs. If you are not able to bring your own tent they have a rental one for 500php that you can used until the end of the day or even for overnight staying. We have encountered a couple that arrived via a tricycle, they brought their own tent but paid for a rental space for 150php. We are not sure by then if it is legal or not. (you can update us wether we should have paid or not :) if you decided to go there). When we arrived (FYI: we travel via our motor cycle) and walk straight to the beach and built our tent, we didn't pay for any space rent and knowing it is ok and there are no one that told us to do so. As we believed it is free.

Cottages are ranging from 350-1000php. But FYI you should call them ahead of time for reservation. As it was always full. By the time that we went there, its all accupied, and told us that for the peak season of 2016 they will be adding more cottages.

Bringing food, liqour, cooking materials are all allowed in the area. If you are not lucky enough to get a room/cottage it is better to have a tent and build it by the beach.

The main expenses for the trip would be the entrance fee, transportation (if commute), gas (if travelling with vehicle) and foods.

There are sari-sari store located at the near entrance of the vicinity. We haven't tried it as we brought our own food.

We spent less than 500 for this whole day trip. And it was great.

Here are more photos for your reference :) enjoy
